Descirption

Established packaging company in Pinetown requires an experienced candidate to manage the quality team, systems, ISO 9001 for one of their divisions. REQUIREMENTS • Degree minimum (Quality, or related) • 5+ years Quality Management experience in either packaging, FMCG, plastics • ISO 9001:2015 experience essential (implementation and management thereof) • Experience leading an ISO 9001 audit • Advanced Excel skills • Strong working knowledge of SHEQsys and MRM procedures • FSSC 22000 experience advantageous RESPONSIBILITIES • Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintenance of all Quality systems and procedures in the division. This includes ISO 9001 • Develop and execute an internal Quality audit program • Actively implement continuous improvement projects • Manage the Quality team (QC Inspectors) • Ensure Quality Assurance with regards to raw materials and final products • Reduce customer complaints • Partner with Sales Managers to provide customers with outstanding service • Assemble, analyse and report Quality statistics and trends and make recommendations • Manage the MRM, DRM process • Develop and carry out Quality training and education programs • Establish and manage Quality budget CHARACTERISTICS • Able to operate strategically and transactionally • Assertive (but not aggressive) • Systems orientated and analytical • Strong logical and critical thinking • Enjoys being on the Production floor • Excellent attention to detail • Passionate about excellent service • Ability to manage a team • The ability to manage complexity Contact Scott on 0117041302
